Reaction of Zinc Borate with Phosphoric Acid
It can replace monoammonium phosphate, and field experiments show that the fertilizer efficiency of polyammonium phosphate is better than that of monoammonium phosphate and diammonium phosphate.
The main advantages of ammonium polyphosphate are:
(1) High nitrogen and phosphorus nutrient content can save transportation and packaging costs;
(2) Polyphosphates have chelating ability to metal ions, so they are not easily fixed by iron and calcium ions in soil, but can form soluble complexes with invalid trace elements in soil and be absorbed by plants.
(3) The chelation of polyphosphate can prevent metal impurities from forming precipitation in suspended fertilizer, so high suspended fertilizer can be obtained by adding ammonium polyphosphate.
(4) Polyphosphate is not directly absorbed by plants, but is gradually hydrolyzed into orthophosphate in soil and used by plants, so it is a slow-soluble long-term fertilizer.
